Formula:
\[ \text{Fabric Consumption in CM(yards/pcs)} = \frac{\text{Body Length} \times \text{Body Width} \times \text{Fabric Part} \times \text{Unit Factor}}{\text{Fabric Width} \times \text{Unit Factor} \times \text{Unit Factor}} \]
\[ \text{Fabric Consumption in Inch(yards/pcs)} = \frac{\text{Body Length} \times \text{Body Width} \times \text{Fabric Part}}{\text{Fabric Width} \times \text{Unit Factor}} \]
Parameters:
- Body Length: Length of the garment body in CM or Inch.
- Body Width: Width of the garment body in CM or Inch.
- Fabric Part: Fabric part of the garment.
- Fabric Width: Width of the fabric in CM or Inch.
- Unit Factor:
- If the unit is CM: Unit factor \(91.4\) is use for convert cm to yard.
- If the unit is Inch: Unit factor \(36\) is use for convert inch to yard.
Basic Jacket Fabrics Consumption Calculation:
1. Sleeve: - Armhole Straight: 31 CM - Sleeve Length: 72 CM - Fabric Part: 4 (front part, back part, and two sleeves) - Fabric Width: 140 CM - Unit: CM \[ \text{Sleeve Fabric Consumption (yards/pcs)} = \frac{31 \times 72 \times 4 \times 91.4}{140 \times 91.4 \times 91.4} =0.698 yards/pcs \] 3.
